Working the Industry
This is a role-playing class that takes students with a low-intermediate to intermediate level of English into the virtual city of Minneapolis where they will be starting out as a busser at a local restaurant while sharing a small apartment off Pillsbury Ave. The student’s goal will be to improve their English ability while getting promoted at work, moving into a larger apartment and other real life tasks such as finding a significant other, buying a car and throwing a BBQ party.

This course takes 12 weeks to complete and requires at least five students in order to begin a course. The course requirements are at least an intermediate English level, webcam, headset with microphone and a reliable high speed internet connection.
